Process
Our work follows a clear, structured process designed to remove uncertainty, align expectations, and keep design, budget, and construction moving in sync. At each stage, we take the time to make sure the plan, the numbers, and the way it’s built all line up to produce the very best results.
1
DISCOVER
Every project starts with a conversation. This is a low-pressure call (or when helpful, a site visit) to learn about your goals, priorities, timeline and investment range—and make sure we’re a good fit. We'll also answer any questions you have. It's a simple way to get aligned.
Below is an overview of how we work.
2
CONCEPT
Here the project starts to take shape. We’ll explore layouts, define scope, and develop a realistic budget range so you understand what the project involves and what it will take to build it.
This phase may include:
-
Concept layouts or diagrams
-
Clear scope direction
-
Budget ranges and allowances
-
A project roadmap
3
PLAN
With a clear direction in place, we finalize the details—layouts, key selections, and any required engineering or permitting. The result is a build-ready plan with real-world pricing and scheduling.
4
BUILD
Once the plan is finalized, construction begins. Our team and trade partners carry out the work with care and precision—managing the schedule and maintaining clear communication throughout.
POST CONSTRUCTION
At completion, we walk the project together, address any remaining details, and hand off the space so you can begin to enjoy it. We stand behind our work and remain available as you settle in.
Design-Build, A Better Way to Build
Most people begin a remodel or new build the traditional way: hire a designer or architect, gather bids, and hope the budget holds when construction begins.
That approach can work—but it often places the homeowner in the middle, coordinating handoffs, reconciling drawings with costs, and managing gaps between design intent and construction reality.
Design-build simplifies that complexity.
With one integrated team responsible for both design and construction, ideas are evaluated in real time against budget, schedule, and buildability. The project stays aligned with the plan, roles are clear, and the project keeps moving forward with confidence. With fewer handoffs and less back-and-forth, there’s greater continuity—one team, one plan, and a process that keeps the project moving efficiently to the finish.
