About
TRUE is a boutique residential Design Build firm focused on thoughtful, well-executed work. We take on a limited number of projects and stay closely involved throughout—paying attention to the details and holding both the work and the build experience to a higher standard. Our work is grounded in practicality and craftsmanship, creating smartly-planned, beautiful spaces clients love.

TRUE Design Build is led by Dan Stebbings.
Before starting TRUE, Dan spent over two decades leading a branding firm, helping companies understand what sets them apart—and expressing that through design.
That same approach carries into his work today. Dan begins each project by figuring out what matters most to the people who live there, then shaping everything around that. He works alongside clients, thinking through decisions and finding opportunities, both in the planning and building to create spaces that are personal, practical, and beautiful.

Our work is supported by a small, experienced team trusted trade partners who attentive, detail-driven, and share an unwavering commitment to great work.

Values
PEOPLE FIRST
Homes matter because of the people who live in them. Our approach is centered on building strong relationships with our clients—really getting to know them and listening for what they need.
This shifts the goal of the work from simply building beautiful spaces to supporting the life they’ll actually live there. This changes everything… for the better.
BUILT TO FIT
Your home should be beautiful, functional, and personal—a true reflection of your style and the way your family lives. But getting there can sometimes be overwhelming.
We create an experience that’s respectful of people and their spaces, guiding clients through a process that helps them make confident decisions while we handle the moving parts. The experience and the finished work should both feel tailored—and easy.
PRACTICALITY & CRAFTSMANSHIP
A home has to be livable. We believe great design has a practical side, which is why we make material selections that balance beauty and durability—and why craftsmanship is at the core of our work.
We pay attention to the details and execute with precision so that what we build supports the way you’ll actually use your space—and looks great for years to come.
